Administrative District – Ambedkar Nagar is a district located in the eastern part of Uttar Pradesh, India. I was formed in 1995, carved out from the Faizabad district, and named in honor of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, a principal architect of the Indian Constitution. The district headquarters is Akbarpur .
