Eternal Flame – Beneath the arch of India Gate, you'll find the
Amar Jawan Jyoti, or the Flame of the Immortal Soldier, which burned continuously since 1971 as a tribute to Indian soldiers. In 2022, this flame was merged with the flame at the National War Memorial
nearby. The monument is also a popular starting point for parades and public gatherings.
