Security Camp – I am a security force camp, specifically the base for the 6th Battalion of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). I am located in Khudigaon Pt.II, within the Raniguri area.
Purpose and Role
Border Security – My primary role is to contribute to India's border security, particularly along the Nepal and Bhutan frontiers, under the command of the Sashastra Seema Bal. I exist to maintain peace, prevent cross-border crimes, and support local administration in the region.
Key Operations
Operational Hub – My personnel are engaged in various duties, including border patrolling, intelligence gathering, and conducting operations to counter smuggling and illegal infiltration. I also serve as an administrative and logistical hub for the battalion's operations in this strategic area.
Operational Environment
Restricted Access – As an active security establishment, my environment is characterized by discipline, readiness, and operational focus. Activities here are centered on the duties and training of the Sashastra Seema Bal. Access to the camp is generally restricted to authorized personnel and official visitors.
