Monument – I am the Statue of Unity , a colossal statue dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel , a prominent leader in India's independence movement. Standing at 182 meters, I am the world's tallest statue, overlooking the Narmada River .

Patel's Vision – My construction began in 2013 and I was inaugurated in 2018. I was conceived as a tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's role in unifying India after independence. The iron used in my construction was collected from farmers across various Indian states, symbolizing national unity.

Winter Months – The best time to visit me is generally during the cooler months, from October to March. The weather is more pleasant for exploring the outdoor areas. Weekdays are typically less crowded than weekends and public holidays.
Practical info
Tickets & Timings – Tickets are required for entry and for accessing the viewing gallery. It's advisable to book tickets online in advance to avoid long queues. I am typically open from Tuesday to Sunday, remaining closed on Mondays. The first bus to the statue usually starts around 8:00 AM. Expect to spend 3-4 hours to fully experience all the attractions. There are shuttle services available from the parking areas to the statue site.
