Palace to Temple – My story began as the palace of Rani Ganesh Kunwari, wife of Madhukar Shah. Legend says Lord Rama was brought here from Ayodhya but refused to move once placed. Thus, I became a temple, and the king himself ruled as a regent, worshipping Rama as Orchha's true sovereign.

Entry & Etiquette – Entry to me is free. As a place of worship, it's customary to remove your footwear before entering and dress modestly. Photography is generally restricted inside the main sanctum. A visit typically takes about 1-2 hours to experience the rituals and explore my premises.
