National Monument – I am the National Martyrs' Memorial , a national monument in Bangladesh. I was built to commemorate those who died in the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971.

Symbol of Sacrifice – My construction began in 1972, shortly after Bangladesh gained independence. The architect was Syed Mainul Hossain. I stand as a profound symbol of the sacrifices made for the nation's freedom.
