Late afternoons and evenings also offer cooler temperatures and beautiful reflections on the water. Open Access – The lake is always accessible, and there is no entry fee to walk around its shores. When visiting Ngoc Son Temple, there is typically a small entrance fee. It’s a generally flat and easy walk around the lake, suitable for most fitness levels.Good to know
Weekend Pedestrian Zone – On weekends (usually Friday evening to Sunday evening), the roads immediately surrounding Hoàn Kiếm Lake are closed to traffic, transforming the area into a vibrant pedestrian street.
