Double Six Beach
What is this place? – Double Six Beach is a scenic stretch of coastline located at the northern end of Seminyak , Bali . It's known for its wide sandy shores and a relaxed atmosphere that sets it apart from some of the busier beaches nearby.
Why people come here – People typically visit Double Six Beach for its beautiful sunsets, the opportunity to relax on the sand, and to enjoy the various beach clubs and cafes that line its edge. It's also a popular spot for surfing, especially for beginners and intermediate surfers.
What to expect – I find Double Six Beach to have a lively yet laid-back vibe. You can expect a mix of locals and tourists, especially in the late afternoon and evening. The beach is wide, offering plenty of space for walking, sunbathing, or playing. The atmosphere is generally friendly and welcoming, making it suitable for families, couples, and solo travelers.
Best time to go – For the best experience, I recommend visiting in the late afternoon, typically from 4 PM onwards, to catch the stunning sunset. The dry season (April to October) generally offers clearer skies and calmer waters.
Practical info – The beach is generally easily accessible. Parking for scooters and cars is usually available for a small fee near the beach entrances. There are plenty of vendors and small shops along the beach for refreshments and souvenirs.
