The monsoon season, from June to September, transforms the landscape into lush greenery, which can be beautiful, but some outdoor activities might be affected.

Walkable Exploration – Much of the city, especially the Fontainhas area, is best explored on foot. For longer distances, local taxis, auto-rickshaws, or rented two-wheelers are readily available. When visiting religious sites, I recommend dressing modestly as a sign of respect.
