Viceregal Lodge to IIAS – Built for Lord Dufferin, the then Viceroy of India, and completed in 1888, this building was the official residence and workplace of the British Viceroys during the summer months. After India's independence, it became the Rashtrapati Niwas before being converted into the Indian Institute of Advanced Study in 1965.
