Divine Carvings – The Sun Temple holds spiritual importance for devotees of Surya Dev and Lord Vishnu. Its primary highlight is the sanctum, which once housed an idol of Lord Vishnu (Padmanabha). You'll discover exquisite carvings of gods, goddesses, celestial beings, and scenes from ancient mythology adorning its walls. I find the depiction of the Sun God's chariot, pulled by seven horses, particularly captivating.
