While it can be busy, particularly during peak tourist seasons and in popular areas like the Grand Socco and Petit Socco , there are also quieter corners to discover.

Mild Seasons – I recommend visiting Tanger during the spring (April to May) or autumn (September to October). During these months, the weather is pleasantly mild, making it comfortable for exploring, and the city is typically less crowded than in the peak summer.Summer Months – The summer (June to August) is warm and popular for its beaches, but expect more tourists and higher temperatures.
Practical info
Navigating the City – The best way to explore the Tangier Medina is on foot. For longer distances or outside the old city, taxis are readily available.Local Currency – The local currency is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD). While cards are accepted in many modern establishments, cash is essential for smaller purchases and in the souks.
Typical Duration – To experience the main sights and soak in the atmosphere, I find that 2 to 3 days is a good general estimate for a visit.
