Why people come here
Scenic Views – People typically visit me to witness the natural beauty of the cascading water, enjoy the serene atmosphere, and capture photographs of the lush surroundings. I am often a stop for those traveling along the Munnar highway.
What to expect
Refreshing Stop – You can expect a refreshing experience with the sound of rushing water and a cool mist in the air. The area around me is generally green and vibrant, especially after the monsoon. It's a place for a quick stop to admire nature rather than an extensive trek.
Best time to go
Monsoon and Post-Monsoon – The best time to visit me is during the monsoon season (June to September) and immediately after, when the water flow is at its fullest and most spectacular. During the dry season, the flow can be significantly reduced.
Practical info
Roadside Access – I am located right beside the highway (SH21), making me easily accessible. There's generally no extensive hike required to see me. Parking is usually available along the roadside, but it can be limited during peak times. Please be mindful of traffic.
